House.IV in Qurtuba is designed around the client’s desire for long partially shaded portico’s and clean spaces. The spaces are planned around two prominent gardens and a longitudinal swimming pool which acts as a virtual barrier between family and public spaces. The movements are choreographed along twisting corridors with varying levels so that the spaces gradually reveal themselves, creating intrigue.
